Has anyone heard about the strange disappearance of Rick Ponkow (famous carpet expert and TV hand modeler)?

This gentleman was formerly the spokesperson for the well known carpet manufacturer: "Worldwide Carpet" and "Ponkow International". He also appeared frequently on TV as well modeling his hands for several TV commercials (notably "Gloves For You", and "Furious Fingernail Ointment"
