My wife keeps crying" God , what did I do to deserve this?" Should I be happy that she has found religion?

Every time she talks to people about me and some incidents I have been in lately, ( again, Walmart scuffle, the Clown, Bingo brawl etc.) , she basically thanks God that she has me. I really did not realize that she was so religious. Does she just want to make her friends jealous? She always tells them, and I quote " you should try living with him!". Why would she tease them like that?
