God chose Mary with love and devotion to be Jesus' mother on earth.?

So why do protestants see it so wrong that we (catholics) do the same. Its was Gods choice, so its only out of respect and Gods decision that we pay the same devotion. And just to get this clear Catholics DO NOT worship Mary, just pay great respect to her, as it is HER that brought Jesus into earthly form
