Girls: What do you think I should do with these jeans...?

I've had this pair of jeans for awhile now, and awhile back, it got the slightest hole in one of the sleaves. One day, while I was putting them on, my toe snagged the hole and tore hole, making it bigger. This happened a few times before I got used to being careful when puting them on. So now the hole is about...7 inches, and it's below my knee when I'm standing straight. So now I've got these jeans with a decent tear in one of the sleaves - they've been this way for awhile. I never thought anything about it, but I read some stuff about ripped jeans looking kinda...gay on guys. I'm a little worried about wearing them now, even though they aren't the kind you buy in stores. So waddya think? Should I get rid of them or keep wearing them as they are? Maybe turn them into working jeans (I think thats how the hole got there to begin with)?
