When i type any character in yahoo search toolbar all char belonging to it start emerging how can i remove it?

place the cursor where you want in the search bar.. move the cursor over witht he arrows.. hold the SHIFT key down.. and continue to select what you want to remove.. and then just press the delete key. is that what you mean?
