Can I stop charges I pressed?

I pressed charges against an empolyee at Pizza Hut for making a tacky racsit comment to me in front of my children!I was very PO at the time,but now I don't want to go through with it!Would I be able to stop it?It almost been a mth."We just have so much other things going on right now,we are in te beginning process of adoption"
