If you are a devout Christian, could you marry a Muslim?

If you are already Christian, the Bible states that we are not to be unequally yolked meaning that you should not marry someone who is not Christian. However, if you are already married and then become a Christian, God wants you to stay with them because marriage is so important and you can show your spouse the love.
