Jeff Beck Blow by Blow?

On Jeff Beck's album Blow By Blow, what kind of guitar is he playing? I Know he usually plays a Fender Stratocaster, but after seeing some live performances of Blow By Blow songs he tends to sound better playing a Fender Telecaster than on a Strat when playing live (Especially on Cause Weve ended as lovers.) Anyone Know?
