WHAT CAN I DO???? PLEASE ANSWER NEED HELP!!!!?

i am 16 and have my temporary license. I was driving with my dad today and I went to change lanes put my blinker on sped up and started going. He all of the sudden he grabbed the wheel and started screaming at me yelling at me that I didn't check my blind spot and was going to hit the other car. I pulled off into a gas station and told him I did check my blind spot because I knew the car was siler and there was enough room, he screamed yelling the f word at me. I tried to explain to him what I saw from my perspective but he wouldn't listen .I don't know if I was right or wrong but I at least wanted him to listen to what I had to say about my perspective. What can I do?????
